We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Payments Specialist to join our Finance team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of all payments, while supporting internal teams and maintaining strong compliance standards. 
Reporting to the Payments Team Leader, the role is based in our Citywest Head Office, with hybrid working option. 

Responsibilities

  • Process all third-party manual and batch payments accurately, efficiently and in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to obtain necessary approvals.
  • Maintain accurate payment reporting.
  • Working closely with Treasury and other finance team members and dealing with queries from the business as they arise.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulations and requirements related to payments.
  • Provide audit sample requests.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and recommend solutions to streamline. disbursement processes, enhance accuracy, and improve efficiency. 
  • Proactively monitor and follow up on queries raised with banks, ensuring prompt resolution and clear communication.
  • Ad hoc duties as required.

Experience

  • Relevant experience working in an accounts payable environment in a multinational, dynamic environment.
  • Experience working with banking platforms and COINS is preferred but not essential.

Qualifications

  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Flexible and able to multi-task.
  • Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
  • Deadline focused with ability to organise and prioritise tasks.
  • Strong IT skills.
  • Excellent communications skills.
