Overview

At Sisk, we’re more than a construction company, we’re a family-owned business with a global reach, committed to building excellence in every project. We deliver trust, certainty and value to our clients while embracing innovation and shaping the future of construction.

As a Sustainability Reporting Analyst, you will support data-driven analysis and reporting across a range of environmental, social and governance (ESG) topics. You will help track progress against sustainability goals, support internal and external disclosures, and contribute to embedding sustainability into core business operations.

This role is focused on sustainability data, reporting and governance within a commercial organisation and is not a public-facing, policy or advocacy-based sustainability role.

Responsibilities

  • Support internal and external sustainability reporting through the collection, consolidation and analysis of ESG metrics and KPIs, contributing to accurate reports, presentations and disclosures for key stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development of sustainability disclosures and supporting narratives in line with recognised frameworks, including CSRD/ESRS, UN SDGs, TCFD, SECR and PPN 06/21.
  • Support the delivery of sustainability rating and benchmarking assessments by collaborating with internal stakeholders and external bodies such as EcoVadis and CDP.
  • Work collaboratively with functional teams and Sisk business units to support sustainability data requirements and disclosure processes.
  • Assist with the preparation, maintenance and continuous improvement of sustainability reporting procedures and documentation.
  • Support the coordination of internal and external sustainability reporting timelines, data requests and submission schedules.
  • Conduct or assist with carbon footprint assessments and emissions tracking in line with recognised standards, including the GHG Protocol and ISO 14064.

Experience

Required

  • Experience in a data, reporting, analyst or assurance-style role, ideally within sustainability, ESG, finance, risk, compliance or performance reporting.
  • Hands-on experience collecting, validating and consolidating data from multiple sources, with a clear understanding of data quality, controls and audit readiness.
  • Exposure to structured reporting frameworks or regulatory reporting (sustainability, financial, non-financial, statutory or assurance-led environments).
  • Strong systems capability, comfortable working with reporting tools, data consolidation platforms or performance management systems (implementation exposure is a strong advantage).
  • Proven ability to manage large volumes of confidential and sensitive data with accuracy and discretion.
  • Experience working across matrixed or decentralised organisations, liaising with multiple stakeholders to obtain and validate data.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly the ability to translate data into clear, defensible reporting outputs.

Desirable

  • Experience supporting UK and/or EU sustainability or non-financial reporting (e.g. CSRD/ESRS, GHG Protocol, TCFD, SECR or similar).
  • Exposure to external assurance, audit or audit-prepared reporting processes.
  • Experience supporting ratings or benchmarking submissions (EcoVadis, CDP, etc.).
  • Background in construction, engineering, infrastructure, pharmaceuticals, food, or professional services environments.

Qualifications

  • Recognised third level qualification in a relevant discipline
