Vision Built have an exciting opening for a Graduate Design Technician. The ideal candidate can be based in either Galways or Sligo office.

• Assist in the creation of 2D drawings and 3D models under supervision.
• Assist team members with routine modelling or drawing tasks.
• Apply drawing standards and model organisation principles.
• Participate in shop drawing participation for factory assembly.
• Maintain and update drawing registers.
• Assist with coordination of multiple model disciplines on live projects
• Aid in clash detection reporting with support.
• Learn and apply internal CAD/BIM standards.
• Follow file naming and revision control procedures.
• Ensuring that all processes and procedures are followed according to the company standards.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure the projects meet their deadlines and budgets.
• Follow guidance from senior technicians and Design Managers.
• Attend design coordination meetings for learning purposes.
• Engage in design reviews and feedback discussions.
• Troubleshooting problems with equipment or software to identify any issues.
• Generate reports on technical supports metrics.

• Familiarity with Revit and/or AutoCAD preferred.
• Knowledge of Technical Guidance Documents (TGDs)
• Basic understanding of building systems, MMC preferred.
• Excellent communication and organisation skills.
• Time management skills.
• Strong willingness to learn and develop into a key member of the team.
• Experience working with a team

• Degree or diploma in Architectural Technology, engineering or related field.
