Opportunity for HVAC  & Sprinkler Package Owner to join our Life Scinece team in Tralee.

The HVAC & Sprinkler Package Owner is responsible for overseeing the design, procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC and fire sprinkler systems within a project. The role ensures compliance with industry standards, project specifications, and safety regulations while coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure successful package delivery.

• Act as the primary point of contact for HVAC and sprinkler system packages.
• Manage design, procurement, installation, and commissioning of HVAC and fire protection systems.
• Coordinate with internal teams (MEP, structural, electrical, and civil) and external contractors.
• Review and track project schedules, ensuring timely completion of assigned work packages.
• Review and approve HVAC and sprinkler system designs, ensuring compliance with industry codes
• Ensure system integration with other MEP services, including electrical, plumbing, and fire alarm systems.
• Address technical queries and resolve design conflicts during construction.
• Monitor site activities and conduct quality checks to ensure proper installation
• Work with procurement teams to source HVAC and fire suppression equipment/materials.
• Evaluate vendor proposals and approve technical specifications.
• Ensure contract deliverables align with project requirements.
• Maintain records of approvals, inspections, and system performance testing.
• Prepare status reports and escalate project risks or delays to management.

• 5+ years of experience in HVAC and fire protection systems within Pharmaceutical or cleanroom projects.
• Experience managing MEP packages in large-scale Pharmaceutical and Cleanroom projects
• strong understanding of HVAC and fire protection codes (ASHRAE, NFPA, CIBSE, BS, or local standards).
• Project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and risk management.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and HVAC load calculation tools.

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Building Services, or related field
• relevant HVAC/Fire Protection certifications
