Overview

 

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced professional to join the team in John Sisk & Son.  
John Sisk & Son is a leading construction company in Ireland with an international presence in the UK and Europe.

Responsibilities

  • Process vendor payments, payroll payments and manual payments accurately and in timely manner
  • Maintenance of standing orders and direct debits
  • Collaborate with internal departments to obtain necessary approvals
  • Bank access administration
  • Maintain accurate payment reporting
  • Working closely with Treasury and other finance team members and dealing with queries from the business as they arise
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulations and requirements related to payments
  • Provide audit sample requests
  • Identify areas for process improvement and recommend solutions to streamline. disbursement processes, enhance accuracy, and improve efficiency
  • Ad hoc duties as required.

Experience

  • Relevant experience working in a busy environment (minimum 2/3 years)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Flexible and able to multi-task
  • Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
  • Deadline focused with ability to organise and prioritise tasks
  • Strong IT skills, experience working with banking platforms and COINS preferred but not essential
  • Excellent communications skills
