Quality Manager-Denmark

 

Opportunity for the Quality Manager to join the Data Centre Team. The Quality Manager is the primary point of contact for their project or building on the campus and responsible for managing the daily QA/QC activities at the building level and seeing that the installations and engineering systems are undertaken satisfactorily and that at the end of the day the systems function. Their role is not to progress the installation of the installation or engineering services.

 

The Quality Manager should have an excellent knowledge of CSA and or MEP systems within the construction industry and a detailed understanding of quality management systems and its implementation within a construction environment.

Responsibilities

  • responsible for and liaise with the QA/QC document management team.
  • Be responsible for performing Quality Assurance for relative installing subcontractors and vendors.
  • Conduct timely project level QA/QC Meetings.
  • Assist with monitoring of the performance of all contractors.
  • Identify and solve quality and engineering problems with engineering, design, construction, quality, and progress and implement solutions.
  • Assist in the delivery of the commissioning plan and programmes with Trade Contractors, Planners and Construction Managers
  • Assist with practical completion and handover including O&M manuals and client training.
  • Assist the commissioning teams with the QAQC levels of the commissioning process and report statistics to the client. Confirm completion of work and arrange final inspections

Experience

  • Experienced manager able to direct a team, and others that do not report directly. 
  • Have a good knowledge of construction processes and standards.
  • Computer literate.
  • Must be able to evaluate information to assess compliance with requirements and identify improvement opportunities. This should include the ability to analysis data to identify trends.
  • Organisational skills and workload prioritising.
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • A commitment to identify, develop, direct and implement key objectives.
  •  Able to deal with staff, clients, and external customers.

Qualifications

  • Technical based apprenticeship or HNC or ONC in an CSA or MEP discipline as a minimum
